Benedetta Brighenti
CEO in the waste management and circular economy sector, member of Committee of the Regions
Benedetta Brighenti is a young Italian politician born in the Province of Modena in 1982.
She graduated in 2009 in Engineering from the University of Bologna. She approached politics in 2009 when she was nominated Council member in her hometown, CastelnuovoRangone (Mo). At the end of her mandate she was nominated City Councilman with a special mandate as Vice Mayor with responsibility on public works, energy and environment, infrastructures, graveyards/cemeteries. She is also an Professional Engineer, specialized in architecture and mobility.
She worked several years in Ducati Energia S.p.a.
She joined the Committee of the Regions activities (CoR), with the mandate of Piero Fassino, former President of the National Association of Italian Municipalities (ANCI), on 10th of February 2015.
Since 2017 she is working as CEO in a group of Italian firms in the waste management and circular economy sector.
