The Convention Centre is wheelchair accessible. However, as it is a historic building there are some restrictions on access. Further information on accessibility:
Wheelchair users require an accompanying adult/carer. Electric wheelchairs are problematic. The accessible toilet is small and access requires assistance from staff (stair lift). The stair lift and the area in front of the lift are very small. Cloakroom access requires crossing the ground floor foyer and using the lift in the opposite stairwell to go downstairs. The swinging doors in the building swing back if not held open.
The ICCA2019 accreditation counters will be outside the Convention Centre, next to the main entrance.
Accessible entrance at right side of building with stair lift, staff will open door when doorbell sounds (doorbell is located relatively high on wall). There are six side entrances in total, main entrance is opposite Jubiläumsplatz. There is also an external lift which can be accessed through the restaurant near side entrance IV.
