Oscar Huerta Melchor is a programme manager at the OECD Cities, Urban Policies and Sustainable Development Division. He is currently working on projects on housing, transport, innovation capacity in cities and urban safety. Oscar has led and contributed to several OECD urban policy reviews in countries such as China, Mexico, Kazakhstan, and Vietnam. Before joining the OECD urban programme, Oscar worked as a policy analyst on public employment and management at the OECD Reform of the Public Sector Division. Oscar holds a Master in public administration and a PhD on Public Policy from the University of York in the United Kingdom.
