Vincent Fristot
Deputy mayor for urban planning, housing and the energy transition at Grenoble
Deputy Mayor of Grenoble, in charge of Urban Planning and Energy Transition, elected to the “Métropole de Grenoble” Council, since 2014.
Vincent Fristot received degrees in electrical engineering, he is a lecturer at Grenoble Institute of Technology (Grenoble-INP). He participated in the inception of several national associations to engage the energy and ecological transition for more than 20 years.
In the field of town planning, he is working to build a city in transition, a desirable and united city, on a human scale. Urban development operations, public spaces, which are debated with the inhabitants, favor soft mobility, reinforce biodiversity and plants, trees in town, the affordable quality housing, local bio-materials, and improve the health of the inhabitants.
